Community rules

Balance Discovery is a small network of local communities. These rules exist so that meeting a stranger from here is a safe thing to do.

Be a real person. One account, your own name or the name people know you by, and a photo that is you if you use one.

Write your own listings. Say what you are actually proposing, where, and roughly when. A listing that turns out to be an advert, a sales pitch or a recruitment message will be removed.

Everything people write is read before it is published. That is not distrust — it is what lets the feed stay a place you can hand to a friend.

Meet in public the first time. Tell someone where you are going. Nobody here will ever ask you for money, documents or account details, and if they do, report it.

No harassment, no slurs, nothing sexual aimed at anyone who did not ask for it, and nothing about someone's health, faith, origin or body offered as an insult. Disagreeing is fine; needling is not.

Other people's details are theirs. Do not repost what someone told you here, do not photograph people who did not agree to it, and do not share a location that is not yours to share.

Say when you are not coming. A plan that quietly falls apart costs other people their evening.

If something is wrong, report it. Every report is read by a person. Blocking someone stops them reaching you and never stops you reporting them.
